Gradual turns what your Apple Watch and iPhone already know into one clear picture of your day: how you slept, how recovered you are, what you did, what you ate. Then it shows how that compares with you, not with everyone else.
Works with Apple Health and Apple Watch. Your data stays on a server you control.

Colour and words always go together, so nothing depends on telling green from red.
Everything in one place
What Gradual keeps track of.
It reads Apple Health, so there is nothing to log twice. Whatever your Watch records, and whatever your food app writes to Health, ends up here.
Workouts that make sense
Running, cycling, swimming, hiking, walking, climbing and strength training, each showing the numbers that matter for it: pace and cadence for a run, climbs and sends for bouldering. Heart rate and a route map for every outdoor session.
Sleep and recovery
Sleep stages for every night, HRV, resting heart rate, breathing, blood oxygen and wrist temperature, each against your own normal. A recovery score and a stress indicator built from them.
Nutrition and fasting
Calories, macros and micronutrients from the food app you already use, against targets you set. Fasting worked out from your meal times, with a plan and a timer if you want one.
Goals with a pace
A target for a week, a month, a year or your own dates: distance, time, sessions, elevation or energy. See whether you are on pace, and what you need each day to finish.
Every route on a map
All your walks, hikes and rides on one map, filtered by sport and year, with an elevation profile on each one.
Trends, not just totals
Every session is compared with your previous similar ones, and every vital with your usual. Green means better, red means worse, blue means different, and a tap tells you why.
Compared with you
Your normal is the benchmark.
A heart rate of 52 means something different for everyone. Gradual learns your own baseline over a few weeks and tells you when something is better, worse or just different for you.

Recovery, stress and the day score are indicators built from your own readings. They are not medical measurements and not medical advice.

Privacy
Your body is not a product.
Health data is about as personal as data gets. Gradual is built so it stays yours.
On a server you control
Gradual stores your data on a server you run, not in a company's cloud. There is no account with us to hand your data to.
No tracking, no ads
No analytics, no advertising, no third-party scripts. This page does not even load a font from anyone else.
You choose what it reads
The iPhone app asks for each kind of Health data separately and only reads what you allow. It never writes to Health.
Honest about what it is
Gradual shows information about your own numbers. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose anything.
